Windows Live Writer (BETA)

Just got installed and running on my machine, the new (well.. for me it is..) Windows Live Writer (BETA). It is a desktop application from Microsoft where you can use it for posting your blog complete with the WYSIWYG editor. So, for those of you whose the server doesnt give support for the WYSIWYG editor.. problem is solved!

After installing the Live Writer (around 10MB needed), it will synchronise with any of your blog engines (wordpress, blogger, live space etc..), and it will ask for your username and password so it can download all of the post, interface look, and even your categories are added in the editor. You can also add pictures in your post, adjust the brightness of the pictures, change the post properties (date, related URL, keywords etc).

Overall, I will give 8 out of 10 for Live Writer. I have to admit it, they have done such a great job with this software. Here is the screenshot:
